His experience with the National Museum Institute in documenting heritage in Uttar Pradesh and Ladakh, along with museum projects at Kashi Vishwanath and Kedarnath, underlines his expertise. As a published author and Fellow of prestigious international societies like Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland and Associate Fellow of Royal Historical Society , he brings rich insights into linking research, history, and design.
"Auditorium Design and Long Span Structure"
"Enhancing Energy efficiency and thermal comfort using nature based cooling systems"
Ar. Monish Kumar Siripurapu is the founder and principal architect of Ant Studio, New Delhi, which he started in 2010.Right after completing his graduation from SPA Delhi in 2009 he did PG Diploma in Robotic Fabrication from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Spain. The core intent of his work is to bridge between the spheres of Art, Nature and Technology, thus the name ‘ANT STUDIO’. His endeavour is to produce simplistic, almost intuitive design solutions, and use technology, whether it is computational design, robotics or mechanics, as a tool towards realising the design. Ant studio works with a clear vision where sustainability is not seen as an option but a core principle and an opportunity to create designs that go beyond functional and aesthetic concerns, generating an intimate rendezvous between the Design and Nature.
His special lecture will be focused on
1. Design strategies to ensure energy efficiency of the buildings.
2. Achieving Thermal comfort by nature based Cooling systems.
3. Passive cooling Systems and designs.
The lecture is specially designed for B.Arch. 7th Semester students as part of their Energy Efficient Architecture course.
"Challenges in Policy Implementation"
"Documentation of Heritage Buildings, Identification of Threats, and Repairs. "
